Lead Valley Guttering in need of replacement:- Worn and perished lead needs to be replaced to stop water ingress into the property. In order to remove the existing worn lead, the roofing tiles or slates need to be stripped back.
Work in progress. The damaged lead has been removed, by MTS Roofers Manchester, exposing the roof structure. The lead needs to be placed under the roofing tiles or slates to prevent water ingress. The lead needs to be angled correctly and dressed to finish.
New Lead has been installed and the undamaged/existing tiles replaced accordingly. All that remains is to clean the area (photo not taken).
If new tiles had been supplied the job would obviously look much neater, however, on this occassion only the lead work had perished and a couple of tiles were broken, which were replaced. When it is not necessary to replace all roofing tiles, we shall not persuade you otherwise in order to build up the job.
